The Handmaid’s Tale (18+ adult) In a not-so-distant future, Offred must survive a patriarchal society that assigns strict roles to women, including that of Handmaiden. She is kept for the sole purpose of reproduction, and should she fail to produce a chiold for the family she is bound to, she will be killed.
