The Stranger

The Stranger (18+ adult) Mersault’s mother dies, his neighbor beats his ex-girlfriend, and he shoots a man on a beach. Suddenly his apathetic nature is being scrutinized by a jury who convict him of murder partially because he didn’t cry at his mother’s funeral. The final 20 pages are worth coming back to time and again.
